As lockdown eases, we’re making plans to go out, do more and see more! As I write this, there is a feeling of cautious excitement about the summer hanging in the air. And there is the long weekend of Easter coming up to enjoy.

Viola vision
This time of year, it’s so uplifting to see the cheerful faces of Viola plants. There are some 500 species of Viola in the northern hemisphere in a wide range of lovely colours. They’re ideal for bedding displays, hanging baskets and patio containers.
RHS Hilltop at Wisley
RHS Hilltop – The Home of Gardening Science opens on 24 June at Wisley. Visitors can enjoy interactive exhibits featuring the best of Wisley’s research and world-class collections. You can also take a behind-the-scenes tour and watch as experiments are carried out. All this is surrounded by three gardens that reflect the latest research – The Wellbeing Garden, The Wildlife Garden and The World Food Garden.

Albury Vineyard is celebrating re-opening at Easter by offering each adult a £5 voucher to redeem against a bottle of sparkling wine to take home. And children can enjoy their Easter-themed trail and chocolate treats.You can even take the dog!
