Welcome to our April issue! Spring has well and truly sprung and with it comes the start of the garden shows season and Easter.
It’s also the time of year for re-visiting your garden, so we’ve got some ideas on how to enjoy getting outside whatever the weather.
Relax with a cosy glow
Garden furniture has morphed from the odd wooden chair and table to modular suites which provide everything you need for outdoor living. You can stay cosy during cooler evenings and enjoy a party snuggled around a sumptuous gas-fired firepit, such as this one from Bramblecrest, available at places like Squires Garden Centres.
Outdoor Easter
If you want to enjoy Easter round the BBQ, here’s a recipe from Weber on making the perfect Hot Cross Bun pudding, to ensure your style is hot but not cross!
Garden show at Loseley Park
Walk off all those Easter treats with a wander round the Loseley Park Spring Garden Show (near Guildford), Surrey, between Friday 26th – Sunday 28th April. Preview the delightful spring bedding displays in the Walled Gardens and shop the stalls, from artisan food to rural fashion. Details here.
Bushy beverage of the month
If you’d like a twist on chocolate this Easter, how about a mint chocolate ‘avocado’ cocktail? Waitrose have a great recipe which combines white rum with mint and chocolate – I’ll be checking it out!
Let us at Bushy know if you’ve got a question or idea about your garden you’d like to mull over with us; we’re all ears (not the Easter bunny variety). You can contact us here.
