Bushy Business Gardens has been designing, building, and maintaining beautiful gardens for 25 years. We are RHS and APL award winners, love what we do and are looking to expand our team of caring, passionate gardeners and landscapers.

We are looking to add to our maintenance and aftercare teams and wondered if you might be interested?

Oh, you might like to know that we are based in Cranleigh, Surrey and although I’m sure the work would be reward enough you would get paid for your hard work and you can expect between £25,000.00 and £30,000.00 depending upon you experience.

We are RHS and APL award winners, love what we do and are looking to expand on our team of caring, passionate gardeners and landscapers by helping the world (or mainly Surrey and Sussex) by looking for a skilled landscaper to join us.

We are a highly driven and expanding company, dedicated to very high levels of customer service and looking for a skilled landscaper to help build and develop our gardens. We want someone who cares about landscapes, gardens and plants. Someone who loves getting their hands dirty and who wants to help build and plant amazing gardens in and around our base in Cranleigh. That doesn’t mind when it rains, that is as happy digging trench as they are erecting some Cedar batten or planting an Acer.

Requirements of Hard / Soft Landscaper

You must be a highly motivated individual with an excellent, can-do attitude to your work.

Excellent time keeping and organisational skills.

You must be able to carry out landscaping tasks to the highest standard day in day out, all year round.

Responsibilities and Duties of Hard / Soft Landscaper

Be part of an experienced team helping to build and develop high quality domestic gardens to exacting standards.

You will help in the day to day running of site taking the lead from the site manager to ensure the safe and efficient running of site.

You will work alongside junior members helping them to understand the efficient running of site and helping to impart your knowledge to educate them just as your team leader will do with you.

Follow best practice and ensure health and safety is maintained at all times.

Take care of and ensure all company property and any hire equipment is respected and looked after at all times.

Qualifications and Skills of Hard / Soft Landscaper

Ideally you will have, but not necessary;

Horticultural qualification(s) or similar

Experience in landscaping and its associated tasks

Understand helping to set out a site from plan and understand levels

Knowledge of tools and machinery used in construction of gardens.

For the right candidate in the longer term this role could expand to become a foreman running your own site and team.

This role would suit someone who has experience in; hard landscaping, soft landscaping, irrigation, planting, turfing, rendering, paving in natural stone and porcelain, brickwork, stonework, blockwork, cladding using DesignClad and stone wall cladding units, all types of fencing, foundations etc. .

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

With an empty patch of back garden grass, we were told time and time again how lucky we were to have a blank canvas. We just felt like we didn’t know where to begin, or even what we wanted. After a long period of indecision we enlisted the help of the Bushy Boys. Each morning they arrived on time, usually early in fact, smartly turned out and ready to start work. No loud music, no swearing, no long cigarette breaks and certainly no beer bellies or builders bums. They came to here work, they were reliable, and they always put in a full day.They were not boastful or big talkers, and it immediately became evident that the standard of their work, their enthusiasm and their passion was the driving force behind their commitment. Their clear communication and regular updates were completely reassuring. I never felt as if I didn’t know what was going on, and they were always happy to discuss and suggest ideas. I had complete confidence in their capabilities.I began to notice very subtle, yet unannounced, levels of excellence in their work which were far beyond my expectations, the lining up of stepping stones with stones in the patio, pleasing sight lines blending in with the house, the perfect lines of the hand built pergola, the happily going above and beyond because it pleased them to be perfect. Not to mention the imaginative and elegant planting. Well, these guys have planted Gold Medal winning Chelsea gardens......why was I so surprised and delighted!?For these reasons, along with countless others, you won’t be surprised to hear that our garden now looks and feels that it is greater than the sum of the parts! We could not be happier.I would suggest that you don’t waste time and money with less capable and less committed companies. Engage Bushy Business, if they can squeeze you in!
